DKC Knife ????

Picked this up today for a couple bucks. Suspect it's Asian made but appears to be Damascus and nice bone, and rather heavily made. Filed brass liners kinda over the top. Anyone recognize it? The blade is gold etched with some kind of cat and "DKC Knives". Probably junk, just caught my eye. Not my thing. 4" closed. Thanks. J.O'

I have several of those DKC knives with the Damascus blades and bone handles. I bought them because they display well and I never intended to use them.

DKC = "Damascus Knife Company". They say they are based in the U.S., but I suspect they are just an importer and their knives are made in Pakistan or somewhere else, not in the U.S.A. Here is their "about us" info from their website:
