k7k, I wonder if you have ever considered making your superb collections available to the public in some manner. Perhaps arranging for temporary displays in museums or libraries?

This sword and scabbard are exact replicas of a Japanese Colonel's sword circa WWII. Most of the officers' swords were massed produced. Higher ranks would spend for the higher grade handmade swords. The important feature is that each rank had a specific color. Thus this Colonel's sword handle is cord wrapped in brown which is correct for the rank. The scabbard is metal, possibly aluminum or an alloy of some type.

SPECTACULAR!!! Quick Steel: is that push dagger a Ray Appleton piece? The one after it w/ the sculpturing & pearl is equally nice. I love the Henckels blade w/ the various logos!

Thanks K7K and robpa. A couple of the more exotic pieces were gifts to my sister. The Blue Stone Sword was made in Yemen.
