unmarked case xx toothpick folder. no numbers

i came across a toothpick handle case xx with 9 dots making it a '71 i think. but this one has no numbers anywhere on it. it has bone handle and is single bladed. have any of you seen one like this before?? id like to know anything about it such as what its worth...thankx

A picture, and exact measurements would help.
What a knife is worth usually depends on condition, general desireability, and who wants it. Yes, there are books/guides...but, they are just guides, as the proof of value is in the sale.

Does it look something like this one?.....

EDITED: I didn't notice until now that Jeff had already posted some pictures in your other thread.
EDIT #2 Parker's Guide lists a 61093 Toothpick made in 1971.

yes, it does look identical to that one but it has no ppattern numbers.its about 5 in. closed. about 4 in. blade. have you ever seen one without numbers?

this one is not stainless. it has been sharpend but it is very solid and no wear on the blade. was there ever any made without numbers? could it be like a misprint?

I don't know for certain by any means, but I can guess with the best of 'em

My first thought was that the pattern number wore off. But, I noticed that you said it has no blade wear so......

I change my guess toit being a factory error. I've seen quite a few really light pattern number stamps... I don't recall ever seeing a 70's era without one altogether (unless it's been worn off), but that doesn't meen much because I haven't seen near as many knives as many knife collectors around here.

I know some lagitimate factory errors happened here and there (upside down shields, double stamps)... Why not a missing pattern number I figure?
