::hmm:: You certainty can't say it's ordinary. Does anyone know if there were any old patterns made that were anything like this? Don't think I've ever seen one.

I love barlows and beer, but this one is kind of silly looking.

I’m a member of the Barlow bearcat club and there doing this knife as there first group knife , I’ve got to be honest I’m not a fan of a cap lifter on the blade like this , would of preferred a separate cap lifter with a flathead on top ::tu::

I know I will get one of these, but it’s not going to be one of my favorites. What is the obsession at GEC with beer? I don’t get that, but I am not a beer drinker, or any alcohol for that matter. Too many bad memories associated with the smell.

I agree with Paul. I love the Barlow pattern and I think I would like one with a clip or drop point main blade and a separate cap puller/flathead.

I reminds me of a large version of the trick opening knife. ::nod::

What I wonder the most is, how many people drink beer from a bottle these days anyhow, other than myself? The more I look at the knives, the more I am attracted to it. Will wait till they have all the handle varieties in the store then maybe grab one? Probably be about $125 + or --.

That’s the same thing I thought. How many times have you see a person hold a bottle by the neck while using the opener. Think about that index finger on the opposite side if it slips.

David I’ve not seen the price of the non club version but the price of the club knife is $160 and tbh would be my most expensive pocket knife and it’s just not for me , plus I would want to carry it and at that price it would stay in its tube hidden away , no point for me , and like we say not a traditional Barlow :(

Interesting knife not sure I have a need to use one I'm a can man now but would like to have one in my collection
Having the blade and opener in one does seem like it could be dangerous for over drinkers :)

Not a fan. Looks like they crammed every possible request into a tiny one blade barlow.

These Beerlows are ridiculous ... but in a good way. I will buy one or two (maybe three) just to have them in my collection ::tu::

Well, once I had them in my hand I had to have one. I got this osage orange right of the end of the production line. Along with a daddy barlow by robeson w. delrin handles. posed with a couple Bearcats by Ruger. A new model with sights and an oldie original. the last 2 I have left.

I bought a red one, not a fan. Definitely to much money. Most of the GEC's are getting difficult to buy and pricey.

By the time there available in the uk the prices are even higher , and many buy a few and re sell the spare ones at stupid prices , GEC are way out of my budget tbh , I do like the Barlow with the clip point blade ::tu::
