Norvell DE Shapleigh
Got this Norvell Shapleigh Jack, I am wanting to find some pickbone that may match near what’s on mine for replacement something in same era. I have no funds right now, but would anyone have any donor pickbone scales? 3-5/8” closed for reference.

It has beautiful bone now. If it was mine I'd apply a patch on both sides rather than replace what's on it. Looks to me like it could be patched by someone who knows how to do it and there are folks here who could if you don't think you can do it yourself. JMO. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=57370
After it’s repaired you can still remove and replace the covers if you don’t like the results. Or repair while looking for replacement covers.

I always want original - as much as possible, even if there are flaws. I also think those handles look pretty darned good!

I just want what’s best for it as value etc. I have someone in mind to do the work for me, just hoping I can find some donor scales of some sort from around same era at least if it’s even not the same maker, just a good almost near match would help.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 1:49 pm It has beautiful bone now. Yes that’s what I am trying to get, even if it’s not original to the maker another maker who has almost similar near matching pickbone jigging would be good.
