Saved it !!!

Post by JonTerry »

OK guys,
Ref my have I screwed it up post, I thought I would show you the results, be gentle as it's my first time putting scales on, this is just a learning curve for me so I did as simple a shape as possible, if you guys can think of anything thatI can improve on, feel free.

It's not perfect and in retrospect I did not use the best liners/ frame that I have, but I'm kinda pleased with the results.

Have a look

I think that it looks great!
Did you do the filework on the spring, or was it already there? Nice touch, either way.
The bone handles do look great, especially the color variations. They lend a lot of depth and character.
I say that you are roaring off to a great start!

No the File work was on the spring already but I reckon I could do it moving forward, this was mostly a learning curve ::tu::

I really like how that came out. Looks a good start. We all started somewhere, nothing to be ashamed of.

Does the knife work? YES

Does it look decent? YES

You're off to a good start!
