A Pastor Speaking After the Death of His Wife

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

A Pastor Speaking After the Death of His Wife

Post by orvet »

Bill Johnson, pastor of Bethel Church in Redding California, spoke 4 or 5 days after the death of his wife in July 2022.

"Why did this happen? I don't know. He (God)* doesn't work for me I work for Him. He never owes me an explanation." Never! He often gives them, but He does not owe them, I owe Him."
* parentheses are mine.

Here is a link to the sermon he preached. I found it very helpful and insightful.
