Probably wasn't Miller Bros.

Quite the piece of work. An exhibition knife I would guess from Sheffield.

I would guess English, then possibly German. At the Knife Museum in the SMKW building in Sevierville, TN back around 2011, they had some of these display knives. Wonder where they are now? ::shrug::

I have seen a photo posted (maybe here on AAPK) of a Sheffield built knife like you show above on display at a Centennial Exposition of some type held in London in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. Cannot remember the details but it was a massive show knife. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Dang Jamie, you’d have to have reinforcement in your britches pocket to carry that steel octopus!!

Yes and at $438 retail and $394 MAP that would buy me almost 10 pair of Levi’s. But would need to switch to suspenders

Cool knives J.O. and Jamie! I've seen one before at Arizona Custom Knives, as well one of our members has one under a glass dome in their avatar, but can't recall who it is! 8) EDIT: I just saw it again now, it's in Miller Bro's avatar, although his looks like a thousand blader! 8)
