picked up a knife at a garage sale, it has no name that i can see and all it says on the one blade is a patent number,
PATENT 3,317,996
I did some minor searching and came across a possible lead of a colonial barlow style? any other clarity on model and type would greatly appreciated.
thanks,
blight

Re: Not sure on this knife, ???
Colonial hawkbill electrician's knife, probably made in the '70s.
Usually, the hawkbill blade was a secondary blade--I have one with three blades, and while the spear-point blade is marked, the hawkbill is not.
