It's from China, but still...!

Post by Madmarco »

This arrived after a long mail delay from China, and since I couldn't find a thread already dedicated to these, I started this one! It's an unbranded 9" oal "Guardfather" automatic spike with a black aluminum holding tube, very strong inner spring, and a rotating pocket-clip that conceals the firing button when turned. Comes-in light at only a couple of oz.'s but has a perfect fit and finish. Aside from their obvious uses, these things would make excellent metal and/or wood scribes. It fires strong enough to penetrate paper, but not cardboard. Automatic Spikes are now represented in my collection! 8)

I swear Mark. I don't know how you haven't poked out an eye messing with those things. Pretty cool though.
