Anyone Know The maker Mark "R" Push Dagger

Post by Kramersknife »

I have this very high quality Push Dagger that is just marked "R" ?? The quality is fantastic this was an accomplished knife maker The sheath is also well done. I feel the Wing design was put on after the fact buy another owner as its nowhere near the talents of the maker.handle is Aluminum with wood inserts and the fit of the wood is phenomenal. I would love to put a name on this so any help would be welcomed.I searched the internet without any luck. Some research I did might date this to early 1970's
Thanks
KK

Could be German "Rostfrei", for stainless. Commonly used on European knives. ?? J.O'.
