Keen Kutter tang stamp question

What does the little line under the K on some KK knives mean? Could find in any of my books. Harold

Not sure what it means, however, in my limited experience, I have only seen it on later Camillus made Keen Kutters.

Just a guess... "second round" or "reproduction"
