I recently picked up a quantity of these bags from an antique "picker" in Salamanca New York. An interesting piece of knife lore....used to package whittling kits that included the Cattaraugus "Whitt L Kraft" knife.
I knew about the Whitt L Kraft knives (and I own one) but until I saw these bags, I never knew that a whittler's kit had been sold by Cattaraugus.
BTW, does anyone know how I can get a copy of the KNIFE WORLD article that was published in 2005? about the Whitt L Kraft knives?

Hey Steve, as Stockman said you can order back issues. You just need to write them and see if there is still a copy available. I did a search over at KnifeWorld. The issue you are referring to is the October 2005 issue. The article is authored by Dennis Ellingsen.
