I purchased three knives this weekend and liked the celluloid and mint condition(?) . I was told that they were part of the “Camillus museum collection”. I am just starting to know Camillus so what the heck does that mean if anything ? I did not pay a lot so give me your honest opinions. Thanks they have mirror finish front masters and all else are crocus cloth finish.

Here is a site that may interest you. I believe that crocus finish and mirror finish are one and the same. Glaze finish is not so mirror-like.

What’s this Museum collection you speak of . Been collecting Camillus for a long time and based on that ,am not aware of this “ collection “ . You have what looks like 4 line tang stamps . Can’t see the stamps very well in your pics . They look to be everyday mid 1940 s or older pocket knives . Keep an eye on the celluloid covers . Some of those off gas .bocaj wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 11:49 pm I purchased three knives this weekend and liked the celluloid and mint condition(?) .
