Unique Fulcrum Lever Auto

Post by Mario »

Picked this one up for $18. You can both open this one automatically with the fulcrum lever or you can pull it open two handed. The fulcrum is also the lock to close it. It doesn’t have as much spring power as most auto knives. I guess it’s because the backspring acts as the lock bar and it’s probably to help keep the knife closed. It’s a coil spring. These were made in China and sold for really cheap back in the day.

I also had one when they first came out on the market. I think that these were the first attempt to build an assisted knife that was not a button activated switchblade. Mine was also slow when you pressed down on the lever, but if you pressed it with a quick motion the speed would increase.
