Help Identifying Old German Knife (Solingen?)

Post by Tachibana »

Got a few knives from an old man who used to run a knife store in my city back in the 70s and 80s, I know it's old. It came in a knife sheath with a deer on it, the closest things to markings I can find on the blade are basically impossible for me to make out as they're far too small.

Your knife could be an EdgeMark, Solingen Germany. ::shrug:: The only reason I suggest this is; you stated the sheath has a deer on it. EdgeMark put a stamped deer on all their fixed blade sheaths.

I have a knife that looks very much like yours. Mine is a Remington RH-34 WW2 vintage 1940 - 1942. About 9.25" total length
