If they were us made they'd be stamped so.

I think Spain is proud enough to stamp their credentials on the knife. The seller has a username that is redolent of the mid-east Asia. He lives in NYC, which is a place full of immigrants from the region. He has a long list of knives for sale that are clearly made in the mid east part of Asia, meaning probably Pakistan.

Look up "iPak" on Bladeforums. This was yet another case of an individual claiming knives were handmade in the US; when in reality, they were just cheap Pakistani imports. Turned into quite the nasty mess.

I know in the past Pakistan knives have been rather crude. Chinese made knives also used to be thought of as crude, but some brands are now highly sot after and collected. Could not the same trend in manufacturing be happening in Pakistan? The fit and finish on the knife in question appears to be excellent.
