In general I am not a collector of Boy Scout Sheath knives, I do have a couple of the standard ones. I have looked up examples of Western Scout knives but this one has me stumped. I do not intend to bid on this one but I am curious as to what the knife looked like new. It is obvious that it has been sharpened but I can not find an example of a Western Scout knife with this much curve. Could the blade back been ground down?
