very old boker scissors

my mom got these from my grandmother who is 97 years old so we are dating these to maybee the 1920's. just wondering if they hold any value other than the sentimental. i didn't know what forum to post this in so i gave this one a shot.

They are worth a few $$- but more of a SENTIMENTAL value i would think----i got a bunch of CATTARAUGUS scissors from my family--seems no one is to interested in them unless you could turn them into a knife MR.Fred.

yes the sentimental value to me is huge. my mom uses them for nothing but cutting material for her sewing, she used to sew for a living in the 60's so these have seen alot of action throughout its life and has never dulled. they are very sharp almost 100 years later without any sharpening, its got the factory edge on it still.

I have some very old ones and I have tried a few searches around ebay, I guess that unless they are very very old, like medieval or so, old scissors are not worth much, there most be millions of them around, but as you say sentimental value can be great.

The second from top on this picture is fairly recent, the others belonged to my wife's grandpa who was a tailor.

i think your right but when i saw the boker tree on it i thought that little tree was a dollar sign at first.
