Has the Buck 55 been discontinued ?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Has the Buck 55 been discontinued ?

Post by Nev52 »

I was going to buy a buck model 55 for a Christmas present. I went to the hardware and gun shop in town they told me they were being discontinued. I went to my Smoky Mountain knife works catalog and tried to order one. Out of stock. Then tried knife center discontinued. Amazon has some and ebay is full of knives. I guess they must be old stock. I was just wondering has anyone else ran into this problem ? ::hmm::
