I bought newer knives, OH MY now what have I done?????

HI Gang,

As most of you know, I don't buy newer knives. If it isn't prior to 1970, I ususally don't look. But this caught my eye for obvious reasons. I can't seem to afford an original Tidioute unior razor sunfish, so I settled for three versions from 1986. limited to 426 made and gorgeous material. Maybe there is hope for me after all. Until a real one comes available. Stamped Union Razor, Union Cutlery and Union Cutlery KaBar. 4 an a quarter inches long and well made for new knives. marked 151 collectors number. I am happy and I will wait for the real thing to come my way while I play with these

They look interesting, PA. Who made them? Are they actually Kabar? Or repros?

KaBar collectors club 1986. Your guess is as good as mine as to who made them. Folder is mark KaBar as well. The blade on one is KaBar. I don't know when they stopped making their own. Any one Know???

Well David, as you know, I prefer the older knives myself. I got 2 more C.F. W.'s recently, another barlow and a 4" swell end jack. An equal end jack from E. K. Tryon came today.

If your acquisition hasn't totally corrupted you, and you don't wear the jigging off fondling them, call me when you're finished with them.

NO, got them from a dealer, he was offering one at a time and I wanted all three. Got a good deal to boot. I like them a lot. Gorgeous handles and flat bolsters on the ebony one.

According to a book I have by C. Houston Price, Ka-Bar quit producing knives by their own employees in 1977. I like the knives you have pictured.
