A Little Help IDing and History of this GESCUT Folder

Havent found much about these knives except Frost was one of the manufacturers of these Japanese knives. I have found nothing on this particular configuration.
What I know:
This is a Gescut folding 2 blade pocket knife. Tang stamp is GESCUT Japan on one side and the number 8 stamped on the other side of the main blade. Secondary blade looks like a drop point, not sure about the main blade looks like cross between a hawkbill and spay point. Also the blades are on opposite ends of the knife which seems hard to find.
Also a guess that it was made in the 70's or prior. Scales are Jigged bone, the best I can tell.
Any info on the year manufactured and any other history or comparables would be appreciated.

Welcome to AAPK. Frost is not a manufacturer, they are a distributor and “jobber”. They own the rights to the trademark names of numerous old U.S. cutleries, and contract with others (nowadays mainly the Chicoms but in the past Japanese among others) to have knives made. Those knives are typically stamped with those old cutlery names.

I’m not sure whether your knife was made for Frost. Just giving you info since you said perhaps Frost was the “manufacturer”.
