According to Goins,knives stamped with the name "ROMO" or sometimes,"OMOR" were made variously in Japan,Germany,and Italy and possibly other countries.He illustrates a stamping with an arrow through the letters as well.Apparently there was a distributor named M.Mogal in New York who sold knives with this stamping from about 1917 to the present time(at least 1986 when my copy was printed). Your knife looks like it may have been made in Germany.
