The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Here she is, amber bone, CV. Good snap, great half stops, good grinds. All in all I’m pleased!

Great to see Case emphasizing CV steel again. Now stand back and wait for the gen Y and Z crowd to start whining about the blades rusting. They threw away the little pamphlet in the box telling them how to care for CV without bothering to read it.

They certainly will. I have a large stockman with the same covers, and the patina really shows up the bone. Enjoy your new purchase, i'm sure you will.

Thank you! I have two of the big 6375’s and a canoe with these covers and I really like them a lot. I bet yours is a looker too.
I’m not a fan of all the bright new fangled colors. But the amber bone I really like.

One classy new Case brother Wade.
Tis proves that the boys in Pen. still can produce winning cutlery, as good as anything 100 years ago.

Thank you gentlemen! I’m right pleased with it. Now I have my eye on the yellow Delrin in CV!

I have a sickness.

I've got this one coming my way. (I think???)
Delayed in Rockwood TN due to last week's weather events.
Looking forward to it. I haven't purchased a knife in a while.
Sure wish Case made the back springs out of CV but I suspect there's a reason for not doing this.
