My case xx sidewinder will not lock open any suggestions

Can you see anything in the blade well that could be causing this? ::shrug:: Might have to use a flashlight.

There is at least some chance Case might repair that for you. It costs nothing to ask.

I had one that was hard to open and wouldn't lockup. a good flushing with WD-40 did the trick. then a good cleaing and relubed it with a quality oil.

When the blade is fully open, you should see the "liner lock" bar blocking the blade from closing until you press in on the CASE shield. If it doesn't, something must be bent or gunked up.
