Gator Club Show Find

This past weekend in Lakeland FL was bittersweet. So many members have passed, wives also but the show went on and what a show it was. From a buying standpoint, everything including the 'sink' was to be had. Knowledge is power and books abounded. I spent the first day buying; this and that. Lots of money or no money. This table knife sold for a dollar! It was just piled together with other stuff. an 8 1/2" table knife with 'those' 'hallmarks' that make it wanna be 'silver' but it's just plate. Stamped on both sides of the round bolster are: I 26 Rd 4 S 'L' or 'E'. All inside a 'diamond' shape. USA or someplace else? It was just a dollar..

WOW! What a beautiful old knife! I would've been on that like Oprah on a ham sandwich! Might be Rogers Silver Plate(the initials on the handle.Thanks for posting it.
