Case XX USA
I am interested in this knife but the center pin looks a little strange to me. Sort of mushroomed like a rivet. Just wondering if all looks well to you guys. Thanks, Kelley

They actually "spin" the backspring pin (and many times the cover pins); to cause this mushrooming. It eliminates the need to "peen" so hard that a pin crack may occur. You can take you a smooth bit (used shaft) and convex the end to create a "bowl" shape and use it for this purpose. Be sure to harden it a little. Slap it in your drill press and start spinning.

I'll remember you when I get to the point of not being interested in RedBone........... might be a while though
Just picked up a couple 70's RedBone off the bay real cheap can't wait to get in from work and see if there are any problems with them none were in discription keep ya posted
Sounds like this place needs a R.T.........Round Table
