Anyone recognize this one???
Seems like a quality knife. Only markings are the engraving on blade. It seems to be of foreign make but I'm not sure what. Thanks in advance!

Doesn't appear old from the pic. Might be misleading. Blade looks totally unstained. Is it pearl or plastic? Can't tell from here. Good luck.J.O'.

Hi sir! Its plastic. I got it in a collection with some higher end old knives and some rare ones. It has me intrigued. Reminds me of some of the french knives I've had.

The nail nick definitely looks French but the overall shape of the knife says Spanish to me. And I cannot for the life of me figure out what it says on the blade.

I would say Spanish as well , I remember back in the 80's there was knives sold like this in the uk , the engraving looks poorly done and very hard to make out , I would say that was done for someone as a gift ?

My thoughts are that the engraving was done as a gift as well. I believe it also had a lanyard ring. It appears someone removed it.

It looks oddly intriguing to me. Those look like steel pins through the bolsters, and it is odd to see those intentionally domed. The backspring looks a bit thin and rounded on the end. Does it have good snap?
I have owned very few European knives, so I have little with which to compare it.
Edit: Whoa. I looked again and just realized that it does not have a center pin! From the look of the spring, it flexes outward along 2/3 of the knife's length! How do they keep a spring like that from breaking?
