IMO the posted knife is a quite are piece and most likely dates to the 1920's. I have had several early Case stainless knives with that shield and that tang stamp and CASE BRADFORD stamped on one of the blades. To a collector of Case peanuts, that would be a very desirable knife.

Another big tang stamp chart mistake. Stainless steel was not even available in 1916, was not available for cutlery use until about 1920. I agree with Steve, 1920s likely after 1921, and a hard to find knife for sure. The folks who made that chart should have checked up on their steel history.

Thank you for taking the time to post these pictures. I had never seen a knife like this and enjoyed looking at them. If I had stumbled across one when I was out and about I would have assumed it was fake.
