"Sir Vival" knives........

Going through and re-photographing some of my accumulation I came across a few knives that purportedly are used for survival in the "great outdoors" or other perilous areas. Some are very well made while others are of questionable value or use.A couple of these have a feature whereby you can use the knife and sheath in combination as a wire cutting tool.What exactly the value of that is open to debate.
Whatever the case I thought I would post them up for your viewing pleasure(or displeasure) and encourage others to post some of theirs.
The Garcia model is from the 1970's and was made in Brazil.It seems to be very well constructed and has quite a complement of doodads housed inside the handle including fishing line and hooks,matches,and band-aids(presumably to use when you inadvertantly stick a hook in your finger).Compartment is water-tight and a sharpening stone is housed in the sheath.
The Parker-Edwards model is Damascus steel and also has a host of goodies inside.As with most of the ones with a saw back,it doesn't seem to be too practical.
The guarded model is marked only,"Stainless Rostfrei" and has the wire cutter feature although I have yet to get it to work properly.It also has what looks like a protractor stamped into the blade which I have no idea of it's function.It does have a compass that seems decent inside the butt cap.
The other one with the wire cutter attachment also has a folding slingshot(!)built into the sheath and the compartment in the handle even has a few rounds of ammo(ball bearings).What WILL they think of next?
The last one is a miniature model from Japan and even it has a couple of fish hooks and line inside the handle.Maybe for landing goldfish.
I have a few other folding models but haven't dug those out as yet Stay tuned....

looks like a protractor stamped into the blade which I have no idea of it's function? As learned in Boy Scouts, it is used to measure the height of a tree etc. The wire cutter if a notch is for when a fence wire is stretched tight you can set it on and twist the knife and break it. The two blades with the hole near the tip, I'm not sure what that is for but perhaps to put a line or wire thru to pull something tight or pull up a tent stake or hold the fishing hook line.

They are fishing hook disgorgers. I didn't really mean to post those;they were in the same box as the survival knives.
