SOG Spec-Elite II or Pentagon Elite II ?

Could anyone give me some information on the difference between the SOG Spec-Elite II SOGSE18 and the SOG Pentagon Elite II, other then being serrated and the weight?

What knife is the newer version?

Which is more popular?

Any other information you can give would be appreciated.

SOG Spec Elite I & II is the newest one. I have the Pentagon Elite II, the one with the 5" blade, but I rather have the Spec Elite II for the clip point 5" blade it has. The SPec Elite's bl;ade looks infinately more usuable than the Pentagon's.

im considering picking up one of these monsters myself to replace a 3.5 incher that im EDing right now. can anyone comment on how well these carry in an EDC envirnment?
