GEC 71 Bullnose revamped

Post by Doc B »

I've had a 71 Bullnose, micarta, that has been a favorite user, for a couple of years. I came into this user, orange delrin a couple of weeks ago. I understand why some folks would like and /or want this...but, I already had the nice micarta one... besides, it would give me something to play around with. Gave another run with mesquite, from the smoker pile. Probably could use a little more creativity, on the lanyard. Ha! (If you click on the sideways one, it will upright)

Gorgeous work Doc! The mesquite is a terrific improvement. And, I agree with Jeff, that shield inlay looks like a professional job! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Hey nice work doc, you took it from run of the mill plastic blah, to one of a kind beautiful customized look. Great wood grain and love those dark spots and swirls. Keep up the great work. That was worth looking at.

That came out very nice! Quite classy.

Do you do the inlays by hand or with some kind of pantigraph or machine? Regardless the inlay is great.
