Red Devil S&H

Post by Dave O »

Can you tell me anything about this knife?
The tang marking says "Red Devil" and "S&H Co. New York."

From what I've read on this forum I think it is an Electrician's Knife.
Does anybody know its approximate age and/or value?

hey dave o, s&h is smith & hemenway - red devil and s& h co. were the marks on their knives. knives likely made by utica. they were a hardware wholesaler from 1890-1936.
