President Reagan's Humor
You can say what you want about Reagan but he, like Trump, had the country's best interest at heart (and his speechs were much easier to listen to).
Forged on the anvil of discipline.

Thanks for posting, Jerry, just yesterday I was watching some old clips of Reagan. Younger folks have no idea what he meant to this country, and how important it was to have his leadership back in the 1980's.

Re: President Reagan's Humor
Anytime I get too discouraged about the direction of our country or discouraged by the news, I either read Reagan or listen to some of his speeches. HIs optimism and belief in the basic goodness, determination and patriotism of the average American will lift your spirits and give you hope again. Having grown up in the 60’s and 70’s all I heard was how bad our country was with the Vietnam war, assassinations, Watergate, oil embargo, a very lousy economy and run away inflation. Hearing Ronald Reagan made me a patriot, a conservative, a capitalist and involved and interested in politics and history. The same passions I still have to this day.
