Can anyone give me some information on the connection between C. Platt & Son and the Case knife company? Either that or a link where I might be able to find such information?
Thanks in advance for any help.

i wonder if the lady in the picture on the right of this had anything to do with it...she was the sister of John Russell Case and she married Harvey Platts who was a son of Charles Platts the founder of v.Platts and Sons

....Thanks Mike. That certainly gives me a lot of information of the entire lineage of Mr. Platt, his sons and the eventual merging with Case. A very interesting story indeed. Hardly enough pies for everyone to have their thumbs in, eh?
