Some of my work....
I was asked to post up some of the blades I make. Although I didn't join aapk to peddle my wares, here is a taste of my work.

Nice work, TWood.
I like the removable scales. Do you ever use Masecraft? They are one of my favorite providers.
Do you make sheaths? Those look like good working knives in need of kydex pants.

Those are really nice! Do you make your own blades, too? What type of steel are you using?

Thunderwood, welcome to the forum. Nice knives. Those first two look like Bark River Knives, and I mean that as a compliment! What kind of money are we talking here?

I do make my blades. Occasionally I will have blanks waterjet but most are cut out by hand.Doc B wrote:Those are really nice! Do you make your own blades, too? What type of steel are you using?![]()

I've worked with 1095, D2, S30V, and 80crv2. Most of what I use is 80crv2.

Is Fortis your name or something else? I know a big utility in Canada called Fortis, in fact I own stock in it.

Thanks,
My small knives are around $150 and the larger blades go from $200-250. Depends on finish.

Fortis is latin for bold. I would have used my name but there are 2 makers already with my exact name.Sharpnshinyknives wrote:Is Fortis your name or something else? I know a big utility in Canada called Fortis, in fact I own stock in it.

Very handsome knives TWood. I would enjoy carrying any of them. Today I am drawn to the two with curved handles in the bottom photo.

Very nice knives- clean workmanship and efficient designs. I'd pack them into the woods!
