Gerber Mark 1 is this a salesmen sample ?

Hello any information or insight would be greatly appreciated on this mark 1.I received this in an auction.From the make of the blade I would say it's a mark1 but here's the strange part the Gerber logo is not there ,the serial number on the back is 039591,I don't know what to make of this any info would help.Thanks

Email pics to Gerber, get a close up of S#, they can tell you exactly what it is.

I wonder why the number on the boot sheath and the number on the ricasso are different? ::hmm:: Also, no "Gerber" on the blade.
