Another vintage Remington knife roll on Ebay

But it has been recovered. The interior is all original, from the green velvet lining to the cloth pull straps to keep the knives in place. The exterior is where things go downhill. The leather straps have been replaced as has the exterior covering. It should be a light green canvas material. You can clearly see where the new material has been folded over and sewn in place, a decent job but disheartening none the less. I placed a small bid, although another bidder has overtaken me. If I had it in hand, I think I'd peel off a portion of the new stuff and see what its like underneath.
