Hey guys I'm looking for info on this knife. I have scoured AAPK's queen knife posts and I haven't found this exact knife. can anyone give me info about age/ quality/authenticity. Any info would be tremendous. thank you

Tiny Tim I believe you are right on the years your knife was produced. Looks authentic. I like Queen Steel knives and I like the quality. It will make an excellent everyday carry. Nice knife. Welcome to AAPK.

tinytim, the tang stamp indicates 1952-1955 according to the Queen chart located here on the forum. I'm assuming the "1932" in the subject line was just the wrong key strike for the 3. The pattern #16 is 3.25 inches long, called a Stockman, yours has the easily recognized imitation Winterbottom handles. Looks like a good used knife from the pictures, a good one to carry. Lots of times used knives this old have lost the etch.

it in fact is sideways with the solitary queen tang stamp, but there is no stainless under it, this is why im so curious. it wasn't a typo I thought it was 1932 -55. but that's why i'm asking. b/c I looked at those pic b4 and never saw the exact tang stamp. I have thoroughly looked over the stamp with an amazing magnifier and there isn't even a faint outline of the word "stainless" under it. this is why I was thinkin it might be a replication, but also I was thinking are we sure with the 1932 queen knifes the queen stamp had 2 be vertical. or was it just stamped?

Look here fellers, this tang stamp issue of tinytim's Queen got to bothering me and I found some interesting things that I have overlooked. 1st I would love to see a good picture of the handles on the #16. From this distance they look like Imitation Winterbottom Delrin, they may not be. There are several tang stamp charts on the forum and other sites and there are differences in them. Not even close to being knowledgeable about Queen knives, I noticed some that are in my pile, the tang stamps are apparently helter-skelter when it comes to what is the proper placement of the stamp. Year and pattern must be the key. I picked out a dozen knives and read the stamps, they were in 3 directions. By that I mean when you fully open, let's say most Case pocket knives, you can read the stamp with the point facing away/up, close blade 90 degrees (half stop position) and the information is parallel to the frame of the knife. I hope that makes sense. When I opened the 12 Queens I was in for a surprise. 2 stamps were upside down to my way of thinking, 6 were what I assume to be correct and 4 were sideways, turned 90 degrees CCW. 1 of the 6 was marked 'Queen City' in the old script of the 1930s and it is not from that era.
The issue with the handle material can at least be dated from the time Delrin was invented. Look at the handles in the picture, there is 1 stag handle, 7 imitation Winterbottom handles and 4 real Winterbottom bone handles. Also I think there is only one carbon steel knife in that group, the rest being stainless but none are stamped "Stainless".
Need a real Queen authority to chime in, Bruno or Roger, who else is out there?
