I need Info

Post by BamaFatman »

Can anyone help me out with some info on a knife made by Providence Cutlery Company. I don't know anything about them, How to date them, If they are collectable or of any value at all. I seen 5 of them (scout knives) today in an antique shop. All they had on the tang was Providence Cutlery Company. The shield on all of them had CampMaster.

hey bama, im no expert on these but if they are what im thinking about with the black handles, they usually arent very expensive knives and not sought by most collectors. i usually see them around flea markets for about 5.00. may be a good user knife tho. like i said, im no expert on these knives and i could be wrong, but maybe someone will come by that knows more.

Bama,
I think Steve pretty well covered it.
You see a lot of them & $5 is about the top end.
