? on an ol' knife

Hi ya all..Don't know if I'm in the right place but here goes..
About 20yrs ago my father was in the grandpareats shed and him came across an ol' knife buried in the sand...Its a hunting knife 1 piece about 10in. long with a leather grip with the name cattaraugus #2250...Any help would be nice? I kmow this forum in about pocket knives and this being a 1 piece I don't know if this is the right place...Thanks Mike

IT IS PROBABLY WWII VINTAGE , I THINK THE ZERO IN 2250 MAY BE A Q.
LGIV LISTS IT EXCELLENT UNSHARPENED AS ABOUT $50.
PLEASE SEE ABOVE RESEARCH UNDER CATTARAGUS, THEN MILITARY
THE 1ST ONE FOR A PIC. I BELIEVE WITH A 6" BLADE IT WAS A MARKIOR2(SORRY MY MIND DRAWS A BLANK).

I'm inclined to agree with MOSSDANCER about it being a 225Q, but that is sight unseen. Hmmm, let's see...does it look like the top one here?
