Franken-Boker
I was rummaging through a box of stuff the other day and I came across this stockman. "Where in the heck did that come from". Then I remembered, it was a "gift" from Berryb in the last POS exchange. Well maybe I can make something out of it. I have been seeing you guys who have been building really nice Wharncliffe bladed knives, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. This was a Boker stockman, with the main clip blade sharpened away, one other broken off, and the third rusted away. So I saved the liners with bolsters, and the butt end spring. A new blade was made from 1095 hi carbon, and fitted into the Boker frame. The old handle material was replaced with stag, and everything put back together. Now you can call it a FRANKEN-KNIFE because it is made up of assorted parts like the real FRANKENSTEIN. The blade actually looks MONSTROUSLY large, like it could be used for SLASHING open ALIEN DEMONS, or SLAYING ZOMBIES with BLOOD DRIPPING from it. You could fight off a WEREWOLF or cut some garlic to repel DRACULA. It is so SCARY sharp that it could cut the wrappings from the MUMMY in seconds, or would serve VAN HELSING well in whittling points onto stakes to put through the heart of a VAMPIRE. Now the person carrying this knife could be called "a WICKED straight razor toter", kind of a JEKYLL & HYDE knife, without WITCH you would not have a GHOST of a chance of beating the GRIM REAPER or any other GHOUL who may be trying to TAKE OFF YOUR HEAD. Now that I have this knife BACK FROM THE DEAD, as it had one foot in the GRAVE, I will be carrying it next week, in case I have to AMPUTATE a limb from a SKELETON, or deal with any unexpected meetings with the UNDEAD.
Sorry, I couldn't resist doing that this close to Halloween. Finished product.

Holy Smokes!! That is fantastic OC!!! My word, what a nice job you did. If you keep this up, people are going to start calling on you to fix their knives, and not just for "Alien/Demon/Zombie" purposes either.
Seriously OC, that is a fine, fine job you did. Total transformation. Well done Sir.
