I would like to get a little feedback on this new pattern. Especially from anyone that already has one. Fit/Finish, Value, Design.

Can you describe that handle material Mike?? Looks like an inlay of some kind.

The first three series to come out were acrylic. This one is called Cat's Cradle or some such. I am not crazy about any composite, but a couple of wood versions are coming out soon.

I ordered a cats cradle as well, waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
Will let you know what I think when it arrives.

I handeled one last week like the one in the pic. I loved the way the knife felt, big but not bulky. The blades lay low in the frame but are easy to open. I can't wait for the bone and stag handled ones to come out.
BTW, There is a snakewood Cuban on ebay.

Mike, I have gotten all three handle materials from GEC including the Snakewood. Each one has excellent fit and finish, blades are incredibly sharp with great snap and I think they have a real winner with this new pattern. It is remarkably similar to the 091 Case Classic which I collect. With the snakewoods, no two handles are alike and there are different striations in each. Also, all of the acryllics are different with varying amounts of colors.
