The first three series to come out were acrylic. This one is called Cat's Cradle or some such. I am not crazy about any composite, but a couple of wood versions are coming out soon.

Mike, I have gotten all three handle materials from GEC including the Snakewood. Each one has excellent fit and finish, blades are incredibly sharp with great snap and I think they have a real winner with this new pattern. It is remarkably similar to the 091 Case Classic which I collect. With the snakewoods, no two handles are alike and there are different striations in each. Also, all of the acryllics are different with varying amounts of colors.
