Has anyone got a drawing for putting a pocket knife together.
Just need the basic shapes. no locks
What I would like to do is take a scandi shape blade and turn it into a slip
With a bit of chopping and filing.a bit of this and that.

You will need to do a few pocket knives first, to make a folding scandi is an ambitious project. I'd recommend that you go the lockback route, similar to a Buck 110 is how I'm imagining the out come. You would have to be able to design a backspring for it and heat treating it (or use titanium Ti-6Al-4V alloy, the natural hardness makes a decent backspring as is), more importantly to temper it down to a usable hardness. It's not an impossible task, but you should have a couple years of experience working on knives first.

For those of us that enjoy the Buck 110, Grand Leavitt og Idaho makes a nice Damascus blade that will fit right into your 110.

His blades are always top notch.

I would like it better if the pivot pin hole had been masked off before etching.
