New collector in need of help
I recently started collecting and I purchased a Case XX USA 1836 Bowie. It has Jim Bowie etched on it and includes the sheath. I have been researching it non stop and have come up with nothing. Does anyone have any information on this?

I went to Ebay, went to "advanced search" typed in "Case XX USA 1836 Bowie", clicked the box for "completed listings only" hit "search" and found four completed items that matched your description. The prices ranged from $90 - 205.
That is sort of typical for Ebay where the category an item is listed in, the quality of the picture, the quality of the description, and just blind luck can make a big difference in the price realized.
There may be some difference in the knives which would be important for an avid Case collector which I didn't bother to try to discern, but they all looked alike to me.
