Schrade Walden NY USA 148
Just got this one in. Does anyone have one? How is the steel? Looks identical to my Western L39. Any one know when they were made? 50's, 60's would be my guess. Than you for any info you can provide.

That knife was made from 1961-73 and has a high carbon steel blade. Here's a couple that have been cleaned up and re-handled
I have a hard time trusting someone who doesn't like dogs...but if my dog doesn't like someone, I'll trust that.

Thank you for the info Dweb!! Your examples are very nice!! They seem to have good steel. I will clean my example up a little this weekend!!
