Case Tribal Lock question

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case Tribal Lock question

Post by LSS152 »

I really like the looks of the Case Tribal locks. For any of you guys that have handled them before, have there been any quality issues? I am really wondering specifically about blade wobble. Any input would be appreciated. This is the one I am looking at

Every one I have is rock solid no blade wobble at all. Some do have a little stouter locks than others meaning it takes a little more thumb pressure so if possible I would test it out before you buy. ::tu::

Thanks Greg! I was hoping that was the case. I have Gary Kennedy looking for me a good one at the Atlanta knife show. I wish I could go.

That's a nice tribe of knives Greg. Sorry couldn't resist.

I have one also, the antique bone handles one with the bomb shield. Slim knife, easy in your pocket, no quality issues. A great EDC lockback.

I like the Tribal Lock and have gifted them to friends. In case you want to pre-shop before the blade show Shepherd Hills has a pretty good selection if you click on the link below:

I recently gave my Pastor the Tribal Lock with the cross shield.

Edit:
PS: Case now offers a Tribal Lock with a CV blade: https://www.casexx.com/Details/?Product ... &Patid=228 this is on my list :).

Jerry that whiskey bone bare head that I just bought has a CV blade also. That's a great looking knife you got for your pastor. ::tu::
