When did buck creek knives stop using carbon steel?

I bought a buck creek knife on ebay . The only description given was " 4 blade buck creek knife, with blue bone handles. " Took a chance got for $25 shipping and all. when I got it, it looks like new not sharpened, Bobcat etched on the main blade. The tang is stamped Solingen German. It does not say stainless any where. Do you think these would be carbon blades? If so how old would you guess and did I get a pretty good deal?
