Destined to be lost in box forever as this poor knife has donated part of its soul to the cause.
Rescued by a trade for a $5 portrait of Lincoln it made its way home in my pocket.
Revived by dallop of elbow grease and spiced by a tube of spit and polish.

Straight blade, folder all enhanced at the hands of Tony Wood. A dallop of elbow grease and spit, you should bottle it.Tony_Wood wrote:Destined to be lost in box forever as this poor knife has donated part of its soul to the cause.

I'm assuming you did a through-pin reno on that? Looks awesome, and I bet it rides great in the pocket, so slim...

Noted and patented!
Yes sir. It rides very nice. You are correct on the pin through. The original pins with the factory head were too long to use.glennbad wrote:I'm assuming you did a through-pin reno on that? Looks awesome, and I bet it rides great in the pocket, so slim...

Nice blending work on the bolsters, you can't even see the pins.

Thank you. I chamfered the bolsters and peened the pins. I was surprised with how well they disappeared. I took the time to clean everything with alcohol before assembly. Always open to more tips.glennbad wrote:Nice blending work on the bolsters, you can't even see the pins.
