Voyles Auction has many Case Knives

I am not trying to beat the drum for Bruce Voyles but I was just looking at his site. There is an auction coming right up and there are lot of Case knives listed, both fixed blades and folders. There are quite a few other brands, also.
There might be the one you have been looking for and it doesn't cost anything to look!

I have bought several items at his auctions. I would offer the following advice.
If you place a bid by email or phone, be sure to designate your bid as "UP TO" , assuming that is what you wish.
He will round any odd number bid to comply with his increments. A bid for $23 will go to $25. A bid of $205 may become $225.
There is a buyers fee of 10%.
I have found his descriptions to be accurate.

Thanks Ray. I called Mr. Voyles and got a buyers number. I saw a few knives there that I might bid on.

So if I see a lot and I want to bid say $84.00 and another bidder has bid say $83.00, does my bid automatically go up to $93.00 plus a 10 Percent Buyers fee of $9.30 making the total $102.30 Plus the Texas sales tax of 7.25 % so I have to pay this amount of $7.42 Taking me to $109.72 and then I have to pay Freight or Shipping of $10.00 making my TOTAL cost for 3 knives about $120.00 for knives that are really worth about $90.00?

Thanks, I can give him a call in the morning. There are some nice knives so maybe I can get lucky and see something everybody else believes is ugly. Well maybe not! But drooling anyway!

All but your increments are correct. I can't remember if the increment over $50 is $5 or $10. But, if it were $10, yours would be raised to $90. If someone bid $83 BEFORE you, theirs would be raised to $90 and yours would be thrown away.

Be sure they confirm your bids as I have had problems with them never putting them on the books. Also, don't accept knives that do not arrive as described; seems they have been a little liberal in their grading lately.

I did participate and was fortunate enough to get a couple lots. Some prices were good and some really brought in some very high bids I saw after they were posted. They were good people to deal with. Still waiting on the knives though. I guess I had better check with them tomorrow. They did say it might take awhile to ship them all out. Anyway I did enjoy the Auction and will watch for future auctions.

I participated as well but I didn't get anything. I guess I'm too cheap I will participate in the next one too. I talked to Mr. Voyles on the phone and he seemed like a nice guy.
